Associations
The National Animal Protection Organisation (Enpa), the International Organisation for the Protection of Animals (Oipa) and the National Association for the Protection of Animals and the Environment (Anpav) are three of the most important organisations working in Italy for the defence and protection of animals.
Enpa is Italy’s oldest and most widespread animal welfare association. It rescues injured wildlife and pets, it rescues and cares for abused dogs and cats, it fights stray dogs, and it provides training in schools for a culture of respect. Oipa monitors and reports mistreatment in a timely manner, fights all forms of abuse, and is active on issues such as the abolition of vivisection, hunting and the fur trade. It is active in the recovery of wildlife and the defence of natural habitats. Last but not least, Anpav promotes the adoption of stray animals and a correct human-animal coexistence, carrying out educational campaigns in schools and pet therapy projects.
These organisations play an irreplaceable role in the defence of animal welfare and rights. For this very reason, they are now among the main associations that Arcaplanet works with, both locally and nationally. The aim is to spread respect for all forms of life and to develop a culture of wellbeing through the implementation of concrete projects, for animals and for people.
The Foodstock, Arca Adoption, Anti-parasite and Anti-abandonment projects are the results of a partnership that will intensify in the near future, in order to increase the positive impact we can generate by involving more and more pet parents.
