Our production, research and development
We have been working on a new production plant in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a project that reflects the company's commitment to making responsible choices towards people and the planet and that is revolutionary in its content of sustainable innovation in process solutions, raw materials and social practices.
The complete vertical integration of the production chain will enable a level of control and transparency across all stages of production that has not previously been applied in the sector. This includes the use of energy from renewable sources and maximum efficiency in resource consumption, as well as the reduction of production waste and the introduction of new extrusion systems designed to maximise the quality, palatability and reduced environmental impact of our dry pet food.
When selecting suppliers, we favour local businesses and supply chains that pay attention to social and environmental conditions, in order to support local communities. Working conditions comply with high standards of safety, inclusion and employee well-being. The products we manufacture will follow ecodesign criteria, using recyclable packaging and materials with improved environmental characteristics.
The facility represents Arcaplanet’s concrete commitment to environmental and social considerations and will mark an important milestone in the path undertaken by Arcaplanet, confirming our intention to combine business growth with attention to people and the environment, while serving as a point of reference for the wider pet food market.
Research and development

For this reason, we are committed to identifying solutions with an increasingly lower environmental impact, investing in research and development and working with our partners and customers to encourage more circular use of resources, more mindful consumption and the use of renewable energy.

We continuously work to offer products with the highest levels of palatability through an ongoing process that creates a true profile of each food, precisely identifying areas for further improvement and continuously testing new ingredients and technological solutions to develop increasingly appealing recipes. - A customised offer
Every pet is unique: this is why we work to develop solutions that increasingly meet their specific needs. We place great attention on creating foods with personalised nutritional profiles, and our R&D Team works continuously to offer increasingly specific products tailored to different needs. Whether it is a puppy, a senior pet, a pet with food sensitivities or with specific needs or conditions, we strive to develop and offer the right nutritional solution. - Every day a step forward for the environment
Our environment deserves attention and care. With this in mind, we are committed not only to maintaining the highest quality standards for our products, but also to progressively reducing their environmental impact. Product packaging contributes to their overall environmental impact, which is why we are working to improve our offering as a whole. Most of our wet food products already use recyclable packaging, and we will soon introduce packaging solutions with improved environmental characteristics across our dry food range. Our intention is to gradually replace standard packaging used for our exclusive-brand ranges with recyclable packaging, recycled materials and materials with improved environmental characteristics.
