Save the Dogs

In May 2025, Arcaplanet, together with United Pets, a company specialized in designer accessories for pets, launched a new collaboration in support of Save the Dogs and the project "A Bowl to Feed Solidarity", aimed at providing assistance and veterinary care to the animals of homeless or low-income people in Milan.

A shared commitment to animal welfare

Arcaplanet has long been committed to animal welfare. Every day, it offers products and services designed to support animal well-being. The company also promotes awareness initiatives for the protection and care of animals, working closely with customers, associations, and local communities. For these reasons, Arcaplanet has chosen to actively support, together with United Pets, the initiative “A Bowl to Feed Solidarity”. part of the broader project “Street Friends, Life Companions”.

Launched by Save the Dogs in 2021, the initiative has supported 353 pets and 236 pet parents to date. Support includes essential kits, healthcare services, vaccinations, microchipping, and free spay and neuter procedures. These activities are carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan and the ATS Veterinary Service.

A concrete initiative to support people and their pets

At the core of the initiative is a special limited-edition bowl. It will be available exclusively in 330 Arcaplanet stores starting from May 10, 2025. For every bowl sold, United Pets will donate one euro to Save the Dogs. This contribution helps provide veterinary care to the animals of low-income and homeless people in Milan.

The Arcaplanet Foundation has also doubled the donation, further strengthening its support for Save the Dogs’ Street Unit.

Growing impact and outreach in the community

Thanks to the “Street Friends, Life Companions” project, Save the Dogs has been able to support 283 dogs and 70 cats since 2025. In 2024 alone, the initiative welcomed 135 new users, bringing the total number of people supported to 236. The activities of the Street Unit have doubled, reaching eighty-one outreach operations over the course of the year. Each intervention involves a team of 35 professionals, including coordinators, volunteers, and veterinarians.
