Arcaplanet Foundation Brings the Fight Against Pet Abandonment to the Jova Summer Party
Every summer, thousands of pets are abandoned across Italy. To raise awareness of this ongoing issue, Arcaplanet Foundation is bringing its commitment to responsible pet adoption to the Jova Summer Party, one of the country’s most popular music events. The initiative aims to engage a broad audience and shine a spotlight on the importance of adoption and animal welfare.
According to estimates, around 130,000 animals are abandoned every year in Italy, including approximately 80,000 dogs and 50,000 cats. The phenomenon peaks during the summer months, with August representing the most critical period.
Promoting Responsible Pet Adoption
At the heart of the initiative is A come Adozione, a project created to help dogs and cats living in shelters find loving families. The program is built on a simple belief: every pet deserves a home.
Through the dedicated online platform, shelters can showcase animals available for adoption while prospective pet parents can search for their future companion through a simple and informed process.
Supporting Shelters Across Italy
During the Naples and Rome stops of the Jova Summer Party, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the platform, learn about pets waiting for adoption and better understand the impact of animal abandonment.
The project also includes tangible support for shelters. For every pet successfully adopted through the platform, Arcaplanet Foundation donates 50 kilograms of kibble to the shelter where the animal was hosted.
Building a Culture of Care
By participating in the Jova Summer Party, Arcaplanet Foundation continues its mission to promote responsible pet ownership, encourage animal adoption and support shelters across the country, helping more pets find the families they deserve.
