Arcaplanet launches Nutrition Day, an event held under the patronage of ANMVI
Personalised veterinary advice in 45 stores to support pet wellbeing: a nationwide initiative promoting informed pet nutrition
Pet health and longevity start with the food bowl. With this belief, Arcaplanet launches the first edition of Nutrition Day, a nationwide awareness initiative taking place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, across 45 stores in Italy.
The scientific value of the project is confirmed by the endorsement of the Italian National Association of Italian Veterinary Doctors (ANMVI), Arcaplanet’s partner in the initiative.
The initiative
Nutrition Day was created to promote a more informed approach to pet nutrition, based on the understanding that every pet has unique nutritional needs related to age, breed, lifestyle and health conditions.
The event therefore provides an opportunity for dialogue between veterinarians and Pet Parents, aimed not only at highlighting the importance of proper nutrition but also at recognising nutrition as a key element of preventive veterinary care.
In‑store activities
On Sunday, April 19, the 45 participating Arcaplanet stores will become spaces for consultation and advice, offering personalised veterinary guidance (which does not replace a clinical veterinary visit) to interested Pet Parents.
Each store will host a veterinarian selected by ANMVI, available from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to support Pet Parents with nutritional guidance and personalised advice on choosing food suited to their pet’s needs.
In Milan and Curno, veterinary advice will also be provided by specialists from MyPetClinic, strengthening the connection between pet retail and veterinary care.
The importance of ANMVI’s patronage
Through its collaboration with ANMVI, Arcaplanet confirms its commitment to making its stores increasingly valuable sources of qualified pet nutrition information, where customers can find expert answers and reliable support.
The initiative also reflects the brand’s mission to accompany Pet Parents on an informed pet care journey, strengthening trust within its community and highlighting the central role of veterinarians in everyday pet wellbeing.
