Bricofer Group and Arcaplanet sign a strategic partnership for the development of the pet category in Bricofer, Self and Ottimax stores

Within 12 months, 15 stores and 8 Arcaplanet corners are planned across Bricofer Group locations. In 2027, the project aims to expand progressively across the entire network.

Bricofer Group S.p.A. and Arcaplanet have defined an important collaboration agreement aimed at developing and strengthening the pet category within Bricofer, Self and Ottimax stores. The partnership was created with the goal of integrating Bricofer Group’s expertise in DIY, home and garden with Arcaplanet’s specialization in products and services for pets.

The agreement includes, within 12 months, an initial roadmap based on two presence models: 15 Arcaplanet stores, fully fledged shops with dedicated assortment, checkouts and Arcaplanet staff, and 8 Arcaplanet corners inside Bricofer, Self and Ottimax stores, featuring fully branded pet areas with dedicated assortments, while operational management will remain under Bricofer Group.

The collaboration also foresees a progressive rationalization of the pet assortment across the Bricofer Group network, with Arcaplanet identified as the reference partner for the category. The strategic objective is to continue in 2027 with the extension of the store or corner model throughout the network.

The operation confirms Bricofer Group’s intention to strengthen its positioning in specialized retail, expanding its commercial offering in a category of high relevance for end customers and enhancing the complementarity between home, garden, leisure and pet care.

For Arcaplanet, the partnership represents an important growth opportunity in high‑traffic retail environments, through a qualified presence within well‑established brands recognized nationwide in the specialized large‑scale retail sector.

The agreement was reached thanks to the discussions promoted by Massimo Pulcinelli (President of Bricofer Group Spa), the mediation of SID (Sviluppo Commerciale Reti Vendita Srl) in Rome and Dr. Andrea Bartolucci, and the operational coordination of the project led, for Bricofer Group Spa, by Eng. Pier Marco Testa, Chief Operating Officer, and for Arcaplanet, by Dr. Armando Lorenzini, Development Director, with the involvement of Alessandro Strati, Chief Operating Officer of Arcaplanet.
